The oil pan in a snack bar caught fire, and the fire rescue detachment rushed to the scene immediately after receiving the alarm.

After arriving at the scene, the firefighters found that the oil pan in the snack bar was on fire, and the owner had covered the oil pan with a wet towel. However, because the oil temperature was too high, the wet towel was small and there were gaps around, the fire continued to emerge from around the wet towel.

Seeing this, the team members immediately started rescue. A member of the team first took out a fire extinguisher to aim at the fire site to put out the fire, but because the fire was large, the members immediately took out a fire blanket to completely cover the oil pan on fire, and the fire was completely extinguished. Later, the two team members jointly lifted the oil pan down and put it on the tile floor to wait for cooling. After confirming that there was no possibility of re burning, the team members left the scene.

Fortunately, the fire did not cause casualties. Hefei Fire Department reminded that when the oil pan catches fire, the gas valve of the stove should be quickly closed, and the pan cover should be directly covered. Do not pour water into the oil pan to extinguish the fire.
